What cookies we use and what permissions WaSphere needs.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files saved in your browser. They help websites remember you and work properly. WaSphere uses only a small number — no ad trackers.

Essential cookies (required)

Cookie / item Purpose Duration
Session cookie Keeps you signed in to the dashboard 7 days or until logout
Socket connection Real-time updates for chats and QR linking While browser is open

Optional analytics cookies

If you opted in during setup, we may use anonymous usage cookies to understand which features are used. You can withdraw this anytime by contacting support. We do not use Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, or similar advertising cookies.

Permissions WaSphere needs

  • WhatsApp Linked Device — scan QR on your phone to connect your store number
  • Server storage — save messages so you can read and reply from the dashboard
  • Outbound internet — send and receive WhatsApp messages from the server
  • Optional: Groq API key — only if you enable AI replies in Settings (you provide the key)

Managing cookies

You can clear cookies in your browser settings, but you will be signed out. Essential cookies cannot be disabled while using WaSphere — the app will not work without them.

Browser storage

WaSphere does not use localStorage for tracking. Session data is server-side only.
